Achieving a mold surface temperature close to the glass transition temperature of your material significantly enhance the quality of your part:
- Covering weld lines and sink marks.
- Higher glossiness
- Perfect replication of the texture inside the tool to create new aspect or new function on your part.
Matching the aspect of painted part without the additional steps significantly reduces the price and the energy consumption of the part. If you combine it with recycled material and lower thicknesses, you can achieve way more sustainable product.
In order to offer a more flexible and cost oriented solution, Roctool developed two years ago a new type of generator: the Air-Cooled generation. Able to supply up to 50kW, it’s compact and light enough to be moved from one Molding machine to another one, by a single man.
