The Company

Founded in 1896, Colibri Is the oldest industrial pastry shop in France, established in Pon in the Charente Maritime region. With more than 120 years of history, Colibri became famous for its chocolate shell madeleine recipe, patented in 1973. Since 2017, the Maison Colibri brand has modernized this historic expertise, marrying quality, execution and taste. At the heart of their recipes are surprising and original flavors that renew the pastry experience along with simple, high quality ingredients: fine sea salt from Ile de Ré, local flour, French chocolate and pastry butter.
All pastries are Made In France, are free from palm oil, artificial flavoring, and food coloring, and are packaged in recyclable paper
