NFL Biosciences is a Phase 3 French publicly listed biotech company (ticker: ALNFL), developing NFL-101 and NFL-102, disruptive drug candidates for smoking cessation with a new and distinctive mechanism of action.

NFL-101 has recently completed a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, three-arm Phase 2b trial (two doses and placebo; n=318 patients) with a 12-month follow-up. The treatment involves two subcutaneous injections administered one week apart, optimizing both compliance and efficacy. NFL Biosciences has been able to show superiority of NFL-101 vs placebo, with an efficacy similar to Champix, the gold standard in smoking cessation therapy. Unlike Champix, NFL-101 shows no serious side effects and has a convenient dosing schedule.

NFL-102 is now entering a Phase 2b study.

To continue the development of NFL-101 beyond the Phase 2b CESTO-II clinical trial, and also NFL-102, the company would be keen to enter into discussions with potential new investors and pharmaceutical companies.
