#AIX2024 #AircraftInteriors #Aviation #ATR

about us :

ATR is the world number one regional aircraft manufacturer with its ATR 42 and 72 aircraft the best-selling aircraft in the less than 90-seat market segment. The unifying vision of the company’s employees is to help communities and businesses, no matter where they are in the world, to connect and develop in a responsible manner.
Thanks to the efficiency of turboprop technology and the benefits of the company’s focus on continuous innovation, ATR aircraft open more than 130 new routes on average every year, burn 45% less fuel and emit 45% less CO2 than similar-size regional jets. ATR therefore designs, manufactures and supports the most responsible regional aircraft on the market. Fully committed to the decarbonisation of aviation, ATR was the first manufacturer to fly a commercial aircraft with 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in both engines, and aims for 100% SAF certification by 2025. ATR -600s have the most modern avionics suite in their class with the latest navigation technologies.
Their Armonia cabin, developed with Giugiaro Design, offers storage, personal space and comfort levels equivalent to single-aisle jets. It is the only cabin on the turboprop market offering in-flight entertainment solutions and USB charging power supply. ATR is also an example in terms of accessibility and inclusion for all passengers, with solutions for hearing- and visually-impaired passengers. In addition, ATR is developing an eco-design approach, taking into account the whole lifecycle of its aircraft, from bio-sourced materials to recycling and dismantling. For all of these reasons, ATR aircraft have been chosen by some 200 companies in 100 countries around the world. ATR is a joint-venture between Airbus and Leonardo.

Sustainable cabin design :

We believe we have a role to play in putting our expertise and innovation to help find solutions to current challenges, such as climate change. Lighter seats, led lighting, are part of our current offering, and our teams are exploring new bio-sourced materials (natural fibres), along with recycled and recyclable materials, to increase further the recyclability of our aircraft, from 85% today. Sustainability also means accessibility and inclusion, which are central to our passenger experience.

Premium travel experience : Highline

We believe in ultimate comfort and premium passenger experience. Our new series of high-end cabin interiors will be dedicated to Part 135, Semi-Private, Charter and Corporate operators willing to offer luxury to their passengers with all-business class layouts. OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY :
ATR has made significant strides in environmental responsibility, evident through its renewal of the ISO 14001 certification and its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The company has received certification from the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for Scope 1, 2, and 3 CO2 emissions reductions. ATR has pledged to achieve a remarkable 50.4% reduction in absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030, measured against a 2018 baseline. Furthermore, the company is dedicated to a 30% reduction in absolute scope 3 GHG emissions derived from the use of sold products within the same timeframe. In 2023, ATR earned a noteworthy CDP Rating of “B,” attesting to its commitment to disclosure and transparency. Demonstrating a holistic approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR), ATR has established a comprehensive CSR strategy, culminating in the publication of its inaugural CSR report in 2023. Our engineers are equipped with the latest generation of equipment enabling us to design all your products, from prototypes to large-scale production runs, within a short timeframe.

Navigation and control

Aircraft are equipped with electronic navigation, communication and collision avoidance aids. Our range of microwave shielding seals offers a reliable, high-performance and lightweight solution for the design of compact electronic equipment. Typical applications may include display systems, identification systems (IFF), control units or antennas. In addition to our conductive seals, we offer solutions for heat dissipation and technical sealing in harsh environments.

Interior cabin

The new generation of in-flight multimedia systems (IFE) used in commercial flights include many services such as touch screens, audio and video services, internet access and even telephone services. However, these systems require special treatment in the management of problems related to electromagnetic interference transmissions/receptions and in the management of heat dissipation.

Structure and motorization

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) seals on aircraft structures call for strict specifications, where reliability and safety are mandatory, especially when it comes to exposure to very harsh environments. The notion of corrosion resistance is a subject to which GETELEC responds with a range of anti-corrosion bi-material conductive seals.
