With more than 10 years of experience at sea, the company has an extensive know-how in oceanographic data collection:

  • Definition of the best data collection protocol to respond to the Client’s need and constraints,
  • Smooth coordination of all phases of the survey at sea,
  • Expertise with a wide range of oceanographic instrumentation,

  • Guaranteed quality of post-processing and deliverables within the given deadlines and confidentiality of results.

Energie de la Lune has its own road transportable oceanographic vessel, thus beneficiating from a great autonomy and agility

OCEANO-METEOROLOGY

We carry out bottom-mounted ADCP-surveys in order to spatially characterize currents or we study currents over long periods of time by deploying bottom structure.

For oceano-meteorological and water quality data acquisition, we design, dimension, install and operate measurement buoys of all sizes.

GEOPHYSICS

We perform multibeam bathymetric campaigns for the acquisition of high resolution data and full coverage respecting the IHO S44 standard for hydrographic surveys. We can complement bathymetric survey by an imagery of the bottom to qualify of the nature of the seabed or detect objects, positioning of submarine cables or visualization of wrecks.

We also use a sediment sounder to study the first sedimentary layers, advised for the research of the rocky roof covered by sediments of mud type.

PASSIVE ACOUSTICS

We carry out acoustic monitoring from bottom stations or drifting vessels. These stations are equipped with hydrophones and a broadband recorder to the recording of sounds related to physical and anthropogenic noise and the presence of marine mammals.
