Jinane Kabbara, Regional Counsellor for Intellectual Property for the Middle East

Jinane Kabbara is the Regional Counsellor for Intellectual Property for the Middle East. Based in the French embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Jinane advises French companies doing business in the Middle East. Jinane shares her expertise with local institutions and develops IP cooperation between France and the Middle Eastern countries.
Before this, Jinane worked for six years as a patent examiner and customer relations manager at the French Industrial Property Office, advising the biggest French accounts.
Jinane was a researcher and civil engineering lecturer at Blaise Pascal University and other engineering schools. Jinane holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Blaise Pascal University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual property with a specialization in patents from the University of Strasbourg, and an Executive Master in General Management from HEC Paris.

Jinane Kabbara est la conseillère régionale pour les questions de propriété intellectuelle au Moyen-Orient. Basée à l’ambassade de France aux Emirats-arabes-unis, Jinane conseille les entreprises françaises implantées ou cherchant à s’implanter au Moyen-Orient. Elle partage son expertise avec les institutions locales et développe la coopération entre la France et les pays de la région dans le domaine de la PI.
Auparavant, Jinane a occupé pendant 6 ans le poste d’ingénieur brevet à l’Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle (INPI). Elle a également été responsable client grand compte à l’INPI.
Jinane a travaillé dans l’enseignement supérieur et la recherche à l’Université Blaise Pascal et d’autres écoles d’ingénieurs. Elle est titulaire d’un doctorat en génie civil de l’Université Blaise Pascal, d’un Diplôme universitaire en droit de la propriété intellectuelle avec une spécialisation en brevets de l’Université de Strasbourg, et d’un Mastère Exécutif en « General management » de HEC Paris.
