Driven by his passion for wine, Joseph Verdier founded his company in 1927 in the heart of the Loire Valley. Since then, it has developed over generations to become nationally recognized Loire Valley wine trading house. In 1965, after joining forces with the Bordeaux group Taillan, the company expanded to international markets, and continued progressing in France, while remaining connected to the soil and the vine. Motivated by the demanding nature of the winemaker’s trade, Joseph Verdier is committed to revealing the best of France’s terroirs thanks to a meticulous selection and a deep understanding of growing, maturing, winemaking and storing techniques. Joseph Verdier is seeking quality wines accessible for all.
