The Chateau of Montfaucon is located in the heart of the Southern Rhône valley, facing Châteauneuf du Pape along the Rhône River. The wines from Lirac, Chateauneuf du Pâpe and Côtes du Rhône appellation are made in their vaulted stone cellar from the 16th century. They use the richeness of the Southern Rhone grape variets, primarily Grenache for reds and Clairette for whites. The vineyard is mostly old vines surrounded by trees full of biodiversity on rolled pebbles with clay or sand-limestone soils. The vines are certified organic.
