Winegrowers from father to son for three generations, the Guy Charbaut family has maintained the character of their Champagne House, perpetuating both prestige and quality. In 1930, André tended the first vines in Mareuil-sur-Ay, most of them situated on privileged hillsides classified from 90 to 100% on the Cru scale. His son Guy continued in this tradition, planting about ten more hectares during the 60s. The third generation, Xavier, is now leading the House, whose vineyard now extends about 14 hectares.
