THE 8 IMPACT<\/strong> is the first deep-tech company to produce high-performance regenerated elastomers<\/strong> from used sneakers and tennis balls<\/strong>. Our patented industrial process transforms post-consumer sports goods into a catalog of 4 recycled materials<\/strong> that match virgin materials in both performance and price<\/strong>, helping brands reduce their environmental impact without compromising on quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, 750,000 tons<\/strong> of such waste are incinerated in Europe and the US. We have the potential to turn these discarded materials into premium elastomers for footwear<\/strong>, automotive<\/strong>, and sports flooring<\/strong> applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the core of our innovation is a proprietary AI engine<\/strong>, trained on the world\u2019s largest elastomer database<\/strong>. Developed by our PhD team in materials science (based at Les Mines de Douai), this database includes over 10 million data points<\/strong> covering formulations, toxicology, life cycle assessments (LCAs), mechanical properties, and processing parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
