Proven\u00e7ale is one of the European leaders in calcium carbonate. Founded in 1933, the company mines an extremely pure calcium carbonate on 5 different deposits. It is processed in our factories, all of which, are ISO 9001 certified. The company is also ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 certified for food safety. The product range meets all the requirements of plastic processing companies, thanks to particularly controlled particle size distributions. Some of them benefit from a surface treatment which increases the affinity with the different polymers. In addition, products in the CALATEM and MIKHART range have an extreme whiteness which allows them to be used in PVC as well as in polyolefins.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proven\u00e7ale SA proposes recycled products from its plants in Cases de P\u00e8ne (France-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es Orientales) and Marcael (Arboleas, Spain). These products have been assessed in accordance with the technical requirements of the EN ISO 14021: 2016 standard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Latest generation of calcium carbonates developed by Proven\u00e7ale, Calatem range is composed by ultrafine products with exceptional colorimetric characteristics (very high whiteness and purity of color). Some products benefit from a surface treatment to improve their compatibility with polymers. Its fineness and whiteness make it an excellent substitute or extender of titanium.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Coated Mikhart are very pure and very bright surface coated natural calcium carbonates. This treatment increases calcium carbonate\u2019s affinity with synthetic resins and considerably improves mixture quality. Based on the whitest marble deposits from Spain or resulting from reprocessing for recovery by sieving or crushing of waste recovered on our cleaning or micronization facilities, we propose 8 products recycled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
