Firmus’ mission is to treat, purify, separate, and recycle water and effluents. To do this, Firmus has mastered all membrane techniques (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, membrane electrolysis, bipolar membrane electrodialysis, dialysis<\/strong>, etc.).With over thirty years of experience, we carry out feasibility studies to determine the best technical solution to meet our customers’ needs. We then assist them in the design and implementation of the industrial process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also provide expertise and monitoring of existing processes.We have numerous references in the hydrometallurgy<\/strong>, chemical<\/strong>, agri-food<\/strong>, leachate treatment,<\/strong> and grey water recycling<\/strong> (buildings, swimming pools, laundries) sectors. Firmus is also involved in several research programs (notably with the European Space Agency).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firmus is currently involved in a research program for the recovery of lithium<\/strong> in solution from the battery recycling industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Firmus<\/strong> has developed the FGWRS<\/strong> grey water recycling process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was developed through a European Space Agency research program and has been in operation for over 20 years at the Franco-Italian Concordia Antarctic Research Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a range of products to meet the needs of all relevant sectors: buildings and hotels, swimming pools, and laundries. We have references in each of these sectors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Firmus<\/strong> has been treating leachate<\/strong> from the Viggianello landfill site in Corsica since 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leachate is treated to enable it to be discharged into the natural environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Firmus<\/strong>, in partnership with Concept Inox, designed and commissioned a 2.5\/3 m3<\/sup>\/h double-pass reverse osmosis industrial unit operating at 40 bar for the chemical industry<\/strong> in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firmus was responsible for the design of this unit, the selection of specific materials, functional analysis in collaboration with the customer, and the supply of the PLC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
