Stripping (also known as distillation) enables the separation of a solvent. This technology is used to separate a solvent from volatile compound, and based on passing a gas (often air, steam, or an inert gas) through a liquid in order to transfer the volatile components of the liquid to the gas phase.
The most common application is the separation of ammonia or alcohol in order to improve condensate quality.
FE Process has developed and patented a ready-to-use solution which combines a stripping process together with mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) and a reboiler for the purpose of significantly optimizing vapor and electric consumption.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to our expertise in thermal design, our units are specifically designed to achieve market-leading energy performance, while minimizing steam consumption.
Our installations feature specific technology that recovers low-pressure and low-temperature energy. This recovered energy is then reused in the process at a much higher temperature (e.g. from 45\u00b0C to 180\u00b0C).
This ability to transform \u201clost\u201d energy into a useful resource significantly reduces the need for live steam, and immediately lowers operating costs, thus optimizing overall energy efficiency.
