about us :

SNDC has been designing and manufacturing air conditioning, heating, ventilation, air filtration, pressurization systems and accessories for the OEM and aftermarket on a wide variety of cabins in numerous sectors of activity for over 35 years near Toulouse (France).

SNDC’s design and testing facilities allow for a unique cost-objective approach, in strict compliance with the customer’s needs and applicable regulatory requirements. From design to series production, SNDC’s teams rely on an ISO 9001 certified organization and adapted management tools, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), AMDEC (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Criticality Analysis) …

As an expert in cabin thermal management, SNDC uses its calculation and simulation tools to serve many manufacturers. Experience and know-how in HVAC technologies make SNDC the preferred partner for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

Also involved in new forms of mobility, our research and development department is developing solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles. We are also a source of proposals for battery thermal management and overall vehicle thermal management.

The traceability and 100% testing of production on automated benches, the continuous improvement process, the Lean Manufacturing organization, the stability of our teams, the rigorous selection of suppliers, are all guarantees of the quality of SNDC products for over 35 years.

SKIMO G²

SKIMO G² PAC

100% electric air conditioners and heat pumps

The range of roof-mounted monoblocs, air conditioning and heat pumps is designed for 100% electric vehicles that have no free space either in the cab or engine compartment. SKIMO G² and G² PAC offer the best compromise between performance and energy consumption. Compact, easy to install and completely self-contained, these air conditioners and heat pumps can be adapted to most types of vehicle types and do not require the installation of an engine-driven compressor. They are delivered pre-charged with refrigerant. With the benefit of over 20 years’ experience and the latest technology in air conditioning and low-voltage heat pumps, SKIMO G² and G² PAC combine optimum comfort with a reduced carbon footprint. SKIMO G² PAC heat pumps offer the best C.O.P. (performance to power consumption ratio) on the market for both cooling and heating from -5°C to 55°C.

          BATTERY THERMAL MANAGEMENT

FOR OPTIMAL EFFICIENCY, REGULATE AT ABOUT 20°C – 30°C FOR LIMITING DEGRADATION AND PREVENTING THERMAL RUNAWAY

<15°C : Under cold conditions the battery coolant heater keeps the battery internal temperature warm enough to protect the battery and to avoid starting failure for example.

From 15°C to 30°C : At standard temperature conditions the battery coolant radiator maintains battery internal temperature to optimal level.

Up to 30°C : When the temperature is above 30°C, the ciller starts to cool down the battery to avoid thermal issues (Thermal runaway…), and for increasing battery life duration.
