Saidou BERNABE, Co-Fonder – PARRALEL 14 via IOM

Saïdou Bernabé is a seasoned professional in visual effects and 3D animation with an international career spanning 14 years. His portfolio includes work on globally renowned projects such as *Despicable Me*, *John Carter*, and *The Hobbit*. Through these experiences, he has honed his skills alongside top-tier teams at studios in France, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

However, his journey extends beyond contributing to cinematic blockbusters. Driven by an ambitious vision and a passion for sharing his expertise, Saïdou co-founded **PARALLEL 14 ACADEMY** in 2014, the first private higher education institution for 3D animation, visual effects, and video game development in the Caribbean region.

At the heart of this initiative is his commitment to nurturing the creative industries in the Caribbean. PARALLEL 14 ACADEMY provides more than technical skills; it fosters a dynamic network and promotes international knowledge exchange with educational and industry partners in Trinidad & Tobago, Saint Lucia, and Jamaica.

Understanding the importance of access to quality education—especially in these fields—Saïdou Bernabé has been developing an innovative approach to make this training accessible online. This approach would expand PARALLEL 14’s impact well beyond the region’s geographic boundaries.

The development of this educational foundation was only the first step in a broader vision. In 2022, Saïdou founded **513 STUDIO**, an animation, VFX, and video game studio designed to meet the growing demand for visual production and creative diversity, both locally and internationally.

Saïdou Bernabé continues to play an essential role in shaping and advancing the Caribbean’s creative industries while inspiring the next generation of talent to reach new heights in global 3D animation and visual effects.
