Habib Mohammed IYA, Head of the Kribi Port Office in Douala
Habib Iya is a Cameroonian professional recognized for his expertise in commercial strategy, marketing, and innovation in the port sector. Currently serving as the Head of the Douala Representation of the Autonomous Port of Kribi (PAK), he is dedicated to bringing the port closer to its regional clientele and enhancing interactions with investors. A graduate of the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale, with master’s degrees from ESCO Lyon and the European Communication School, he combines strong academic credentials with extensive operational experience. His career at PAK reflects his commitment to developing port infrastructure and strategically positioning it within Africa.
At PAK, Habib Iya made a significant impact as the Head of the Commercial and Marketing
Department, where he contributed to the opening and launch of the port’s operations.
He also oversaw the development of PAKAzure, an intelligent digital toolset designed to enhance Kribi Port’s commercial development performance. This platform provides advanced functionalities for data analysis, enabling better customer understanding, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting informed strategic decision-making. Through this initiative, the Autonomous Port of Kribi has established itself as a regional leader in port digitalization.
