Abdillahi Adaweh SIGAD, Directeur général de la Société de gestion du terminal à conteneurs de Doraleh, Djibouti
Abdillahi A. SIGAD is the Chief Executive Officer at Société de Gestion du Terminal à Conteneurs de Doraleh (SGTD) – Doraleh Container Terminal since 2018. Previously, Abdillahi spent 2 years in Port of Djibouti SA (PDSA), as Group Chief Financial Officer and has played a key role in financing the construction of Doraleh Multipurpose Port (DMP) as well as the start-up organization of the new Terminal of DMP.
Before joining the Djibouti Port and Logistics industry in 2016, Abdillahi worked 20 years with TOTALENERGIES (France), one of the top 5 players of the International Oil & Gas industry. He held different managerial positions at the head office in France, and several affiliates in Africa and South America: from Audit & Control, Finance & Strategy, Corporate Affairs, up to Boards Member of Logistics and Supply chain affiliates. He holds a post-graduate degree in Law in Infrastructures, Energy and Project Finance (Paris-10), master’s in finance & accounting and bachelor’s in economics (Besançon/France).
