AUDE DJAMPOU, Founder – STUDIOS ANAE
Aude completed a diploma in Chemistry followed by a PhD in Chemistry in Strasbourg University.
She joined L’Oreal group in 1998 and quickly developed a passion for hair science and hair products. She had opportunity to work closely with US and Brazil teams and along 17 years joined several research and marketing teams.
She discovered beauty diversity and especially curls through projects, but also in her mother life when she gave birth to three children of mixed origine, her husband being originally born in Cameroon. She then realized that in France there was a huge lack of products and knowledge regarding curly hair.
She decided to found hairdressing salons specialized in curls, but open to all hair type, Studio Ana’e. She also opened a training center, passed her hairdressing diploma and her trainer certificate.
After 9 years Studio Ana’e gathers four salons in France, 23 hairdressers, and trains several hundreds of people every year. Aude initiated the discussions leading to the first hairdressing diploma on curly hair and took part in discussions in the parliament about the non discrimination act. Her work has had a great coverage by media, especially a full page article in the New York Times in October 2023.
