OLAWALE ROTIMI OPEYEMI , Founder and CEO – JR FARMS
Olawale, Rotimi Opeyemi is the Founder and CEO of JR Farms- a family multinational agribusiness company with operations in France, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia. Olawale holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts from University of Ilorin; an Executive Certificate in Agribusiness from Lagos Business School and currently a PhD candidate at Wageningen University Research in the Netherlands.
Over the years, Olawale through JR Farms has worked closely with global partners across the world including the International Labour Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, World Food Programme, Rwanda Development Board, French Government, Dutch Government among other global partners. Through JR Farms, he has consulted on high level projects focused on agribusiness and food security, some of them include Making Finance Work for Africa hosted at the African Development Bank; Kwara State Government, BRL Engineering France in a projected financed by the French Government among others.
His interests are value addition in agriculture, decent job creation for youth and women, market innovation in agribusiness, food security and sustainability.
